Our trainers work with a lot of people who have arthritis, and we’re always looking for ways to get better and better results with our clients. That’s why I read this book, Arthritis: What Exercises Work.
Original source: here.
The book was written for arthritis sufferers, and is a strict how-to book. For the general public, who doesn’t really care about the “why” part, that’s great. Just pull out from the book the exercises that you want to do for the affected joints, and do them.
For the professional, I felt it was a bit lacking. I would have loved to know specifically why those exercises. Sure, I can guess, and I bet I’d be pretty accurate with my guesses, but it’s always nice to have a confirmation from the authors themselves.
In that sense, I felt that it was lacking.
Nonetheless, from all the reviews that I read on Amazon written by people who actually have arthritis and have put these specific exercises to work, the reviews are very glowing.
So I can’t wait to start using these with our clients, and seeing them improve.
